22nd edition of the Friperie-Boutique

La Friperie-Boutique Aube-Lumière: Still on the Rise!
Once again this spring, Aube-Lumière Thrift Store is setting the bar high and surpassing its own highs. For its 22nd edition, a net amount of 76 932$ was raised over the five weeks of operation. An initiative that’s far from running out of steam!

We are immensely proud of the success of the Thrift Store. More and more women are buying from us, and the excellent service of our volunteers is no stranger to this enthusiasm. Also, since the activity is ecological (we reuse clothes instead of throwing them away), is affordable (accessible to all budgets), and the quality is there (the clothes are sorted and carefully presented), the reputation of the Thrift Store has proven to be a major asset for the return of our customers over the years.
Many thanks to Immex Société Immobilière for lending us the premises, to our wonderful volunteers, and to the community who responds so well to our call to keep our care free.
Special thanks to Diane Roy who has surrounded herself with an incredible team of 46 women who volunteer their time with the common goal of making La Friperie-Boutique a success.
La Friperie-Boutique will be back this fall, from October 1st to November 1st, offering women’s fall and winter clothing at bargain prices.
Those with winter or summer clothing, shoes, as well as women’s jewelry or accessories to donate can drop them off at any time in the outdoor cloche located in the parking lot of La Maison Aube-Lumière (3071, 12th Avenue N, Sherbrooke).
Please note that no clothing is thrown away: if the clothing isn’t suitable for our Thrift Store, we donate it to other Sherbrooke organizations.
Thank you!
Thank you to our generous sponsors!
