Situated near the main entrance, this wall presents an array of messages of love and gratitude left by generous donors (family and friends of patients, or others)

The Aube-Lumière Wall allows each person to give concrete witness to their support for La Maison Aube-Lumière by leaving a tangible trace in memory of their loved one, or as support for our patients, their loved ones, or our team. The hearts are affixed to the Wall for a period of one year, counting from the date of installation.

Three formats of heart are available, with the specific costs varying from $1,000 to $5,000 for a period of one year.

For your donations to be attributed to one of these types of donation:

  • In Memoriam Donations: To donate in the memory of a person who has passed away, click here :
  • Friends’ Campaign: To donate on an annual basis, as a Friend of La Maison, click here:

*For In Memoriam donations, please note that the family will not be systematically advised of your donation. This is done only at the donor’s request.

No matter what form of donation you choose to offer La Maison Aube-Lumière, it is possible to profit from tax benefits. We invite you to consult a tax specialist in order to properly assess your personal situation and make the best choices for yourself.

La Maison Aube-Lumière issues a receipt for global tax purposes once a year (in February) for donations of $15 or more.

Planned Giving

Planned giving permits you to give to La Maison Aube-Lumière and to leave a mark of your philanthropic commitment.

The donation may take different forms:

  • a bequest in your will, designating La Maison Aube-Lumière as the beneficiary;
  • Life insurance, an accessible way to make a significant gift to La Maison Aube-Lumière by listing it in your will as the 1st or 2nd beneficiary.
  • Actions (in two ways):
    • By liquidating your shares and paying the amount obtained to La Maison Aube-Lumière. You would then have to pay tax on the capital gain;
    • Directly from your securities, paying no capital gains tax and receiving a tax receipt for the value of the donation.
  • In time or in goods, therefore other than in money. For example, a secondary residence. This donation entitles you to a tax deduction during your lifetime equal to the value of the property.
