Main functions

Under the authority of the Director of Nursing and in collaboration with the nurse, the auxiliary nurse/male auxiliary nurse provides care for the safety and comfort of the patient at La Maison Aube-Lumière. The auxiliary nurse/male auxiliary nurse must have excellent assessment, cogitation, responsibility and collaboration skills. He or she engages with empathy with patients and family. He or she respects the cultural and spiritual values, needs and desires of each patient.

Requirements and working conditions

• Member in good standing of the OIIAQ
• Experience in palliative care is an asset.
• Auxiliary nurse/male auxiliary nurse demonstrates positive attitude and promotes a harmonious work environment.
• Demonstrates empathy and collaboration with co-workers.

The shift replacement hours are fixed and correspond to 42 hours per two weeks.

Salary offered: corresponding to the salary offered in the public health network and according to experience.
