5th Trek for the benefit of La Maison Aube-Lumière
Twelve people participated in the 5th Trek to benefit the Maison Aube-Lumière, which took place in Andalusia from September 29 to October 11, 2025.
Each participant paid for their trip and, in addition, they have raised donations of at least 3 000$ for La Maison Aube-Lumière.
The final result will be announced in December.
Thank you from the bottom of our heart to Brigitte Roy, Brigitte Séguin, Éliane-Marie Gaulin, Jocelyne Faucher, Johanne Desrosiers, Lise Grenier Gagnon, Marie-Josée Bélainsky, Marlène Ménard, Nicole Dubuc, Robert Hall, Ronald Girard et Yves Gagnon.

THANK YOU for this significant commitment!
This was a 9-day trek in the Alpujarra, connecting the most beautiful white villages to the top of the Sierra Nevada, the Mulhacen (3480m).
Andalusia in summary: sun, mountains, white villages, jamón serrano and local wine, ripe tomatoes and flamenco.
Enchanting landscapes: traditional white villages on the sides of valleys, flowered alleys, olive groves, terraces in the shade of vineyards.
Accommodation in a small hotel, mountain refuge for the ascent of the Mulhacen, and generous meals to enjoy Andalusian specialties.
The 9-day trek was a series of moderate or sustained walking days, interspersed with easier days. The hikes in the valleys of Poqueira, Trevelez and Taha had strong cumulative differences in altitude, on well-maintained trails (the vast majority). Count 3 days of “moderate” level (6 hours of walking, on average 800m of difference in altitude for 15km), 3 days more accessible (3-4h, 400m, 10km) and 3 days supported (7h of walking, or even a little more, up to 1300m and 19km, depending on the variants chosen by the guide).

We will share images of the Trek with you on our Facebook page.
